Key Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, or swallowing disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy and interventions aligned with each patient’s unique needs
- Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, progress, and at-home strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education activities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous hospital-based or acute care SLP experience is highly desirable
- Strong clinical reasoning, adaptability, and communication skills
