Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in hospital-based therapy settings
  • Strong communication and case documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Compassionate approach to patient care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, and adjust care as needed
  • Educate patients and their families about therapy processes, expectations, and at-home techniques
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in care team meetings to coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists
  • Support discharge planning and provide recommendations for outpatient or continued care when appropriate
