Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with hospital guidelines
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued development
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent hospital-based experience in a therapy setting strongly desired
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
