Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with hospital guidelines
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued development
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Recent hospital-based experience in a therapy setting strongly desired
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Schedule:

  • Contract role; full-time hours
