Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development, goal setting, and multidisciplinary teaming
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to provide therapy services to diverse student populations
• Background knowledge in sensory integration, fine/gross motor skills, and adaptive strategies

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs
• Deliver direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in group settings, addressing motor, sensory, self-help, and school-related skills
• Collaborate closely with special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reporting and documentation
• Educate school staff and families about strategies and tools that can help students thrive in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
