A full-time Occupational Therapist with California licensure is needed for a K-12 school setting in Vallejo, CA. This contract position is available to start as soon as possible and will cover a medical leave for approximately 30 days. The role is in-person and offers the opportunity to provide skilled OT services within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and accommodate individual needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in team meetings regarding student development
  • Adapt therapy techniques appropriate for various educational settings and student abilities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience in school-based OT is preferred
  • Knowledge of home health and general healthcare OT practices a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
