A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Chatham, VA, beginning January 23, 2026. This contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, providing services to students across two elementary schools. The caseload includes approximately 50 students, with several receiving indirect therapy—some only once a month—allowing for a dynamic and balanced schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Deliver skilled therapy services to students with various communication disorders, both in direct and indirect settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of caseload management and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP.
  • Experience working as an SLP in school, pediatric, and healthcare settings.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.
  • Strong skills in implementing therapeutic interventions for a school-aged pediatric population.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively and provide indirect services when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location: Elementary schools in Chatham, VA.
