This position offers an opportunity to provide skilled speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting, serving a PreK class with 15 students. The role is contract-based for the current school year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 4, 2026. The schedule involves 20-25 hours per week, allowing for a focused and impactful approach to student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled speech-language pathology services to PreK students, addressing a range of communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust therapy plans to support student goals.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid license and certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience providing school-based therapy services, preferably in early childhood settings.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
