Apply NowA skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Fremont, CA, offering a full-time contract role for the current school year. This position is ideal for a dedicated SLP experienced in pediatrics and educational settings, providing services to students ranging from 5 to 21 years old.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, delivering therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure relevant to school-based practice.
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and intervention strategies for students with speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a full caseload independently.
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 5, 2026.
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week aligned with the school calendar.
- Location: Fremont, CA.
- Caseload: Approximately 55 students per SLP.
- Note: This position does not allow for teletherapy or support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
