An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve elementary students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This full-time contract position involves working across three schools, providing speech therapy services to approximately 80 students alongside a partnering SLP. The role is based in New Haven, CT, with an ASAP start date through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Developing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborating closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation for caseload management
  • Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license required; please be prepared to provide a current license upon application
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience in pediatrics and school-based settings is beneficial
  • Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
