A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-8 school setting in the Princeton, ME area. This contract position spans the full school year and offers an opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population. The role is exclusively in-person with no remote work or VOCO options.

Key responsibilities include managing a K-8 caseload with direct service provision throughout the school day. The position focuses on supporting speech and language development among students, many of whom may have unique cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Experience working with native populations is highly valued, and candidates with this background are encouraged to inquire further about the student demographics.

Qualifications and skills desired:

  • Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Experience working within K-8 educational settings
  • Demonstrated understanding or experience with native populations is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to provide direct, in-person evaluation and therapy services without use of telepractice

Location: Princeton, ME (onsite only)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress and inclusive education
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state regulations for special education services
