A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year, providing in-person services to elementary students at a contract school setting in Yuba City, CA. This role focuses on delivering individualized speech and language therapy, assessment, and consultative support to staff, students, and families to foster academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for special education.
  • Collaborate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide consultative advice and training for school personnel regarding speech and language needs.
  • Communicate progress, observations, and recommendations effectively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to support students with speech and language impairments in classroom and community settings.
  • Assist staff in developing appropriate language programs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Participate in ongoing special education processes, ensuring compliance and effective service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting students with special education needs and their families.
  • Skilled in assessment, evaluation, and consultation related to speech and language disorders.
  • Knowledgeable in special education procedures, disability categories, and early learning or atypical impairments.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with an ability to build professional relationships and foster a positive work environment.

Location: Yuba City, California (Elementary School)
Duration: Contract through June 2026
Schedule: Full-time, in-person
