Soliant is working with a school based in Charleston, SC, and is accepting applications from Speech-Language Pathologists who want to complete a travel assignment in the historic city.
What is a travel contract?
Contract duration:
Our assignment dates are flexible, and determined in collaboration with administrators. Candidates who would like to support an FMLA opening can access assignments from 8 to 12 weeks, while candidates who want to be around for a full school year can work for 36 weeks.

What is a travel contract?
- Travelers are eligible for a tax free living stipend while on assignment
- $1,610 per week after taxes (for single or married, filing separately)
- Health, vision and dental insurance

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Communications Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for South Carolina SLP license
- Eligibility for SLP license through the South Carolina Department of Education
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadline
- Adaptability with adjusting work plans at the request of administrators, district staff, or parent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to foster a collegial work environment
- Professionalism and accountability
