Travel Contract Need: IV Inpatient Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Lansing, MI

We are looking for a pharmacy technician with at least 1 year of experience in inpatient setting and IV making skills (Preferred). Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties

Maintain confidential reports, enter, and retrieve data utilizing the computer system

Prepare intravenous medication, including but not limited to, hyper-alimentations and antibiotics

Assists in all aspects of labeling and preparation of medications

Assists with management of inventory including receiving and storing medication as well as preparation and delivery of narcotics

Data collection related to medication center review and quality improvement

Assists in monitoring and management of emergency carts

Fill automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications, procure

IV admixtures

Fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Chemo trained preferred

MI pharmacy technician License

PTCB

Hospital experience

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days (9am to 530p). Some weekends
