Position: CT/PET Tech Location: Houston, Texas

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET scans on patients as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain CT/PET equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Administer contrast agents when necessary and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
• Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure proper disposal of radioactive materials
• Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns or questions

Requirements:

• Certification as a CT Technologist and/or PET Technologist
• Experience in performing CT and PET scans
• Knowledge of CT/PET equipment operation and maintenance
• Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing imaging results
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS certification
