Are you an experienced CT Tech looking for an exciting travel opportunity in New Rochelle, New York? We have a fantastic position available for a skilled and dedicated technologist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification (CT)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Proficiency in performing high-quality CT scans and obtaining accurate images
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule of 5x 8-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans on patients as per physician's orders
• Prepare patients for the procedure, ensuring their safety, comfort, and understanding
• Operate CT equipment and utilize appropriate scanning techniques
• Administer contrast agents when necessary, following established protocols
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their well-being during the scan
• Evaluate image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate scan results
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures performed
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
