Job Description: As an Electrophysiology Lab Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. You will work closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care during electrophysiology procedures. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong technical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and setup of the electrophysiology lab, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and responses to interventions during procedures.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as required.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized electrophysiology equipment, such as mapping systems and ablation catheters.
• Document accurate and comprehensive procedure notes and patient records.
• Educate patients and their families on pre-procedure and post-procedure care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Electrophysiology Lab Nurse.
• Strong knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and equipment.
• Proficiency in using mapping systems, ablation catheters, and other electrophysiology equipment.
• Excellent understanding of cardiac rhythm disorders and related interventions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, including weekends and possible call.
