Travel Mammography Technologist - Exciting Opportunity in Sioux Falls, SD!

Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Minimum of 200 mammograms performed in the last 2 years (stats from previous facility required)
2. Completion of 15 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits in mammography within the last 36 months
3. Valid Mammography ARRT certification
4. Completion of 40 hours of documented mammography initial training
5. Documentation of at least 25 supervised mammograms
6. Completion of 8 hours of documented digital mammography training
7. Completion of 8 hours of documented Tomosynthesis training

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using Hologic equipment
• Adhere to established protocols and maintain high-quality imaging standards
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to obtain accurate diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system

Requirements:

• Valid Mammography ARRT certification
• Proficiency in operating Hologic mammography equipment
• Knowledge of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Ability to perform mammograms independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred
