Position: Med Surg Nurse
Location: Lumberton, North Carolina

Are you a skilled Med Surg Nurse looking for an exciting travel opportunity in Lumberton, North Carolina? We have a rewarding position available for a dedicated nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting, with proficiency in IV administration
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Ability to work a mixed shift schedule (7:00 am - 11:00 pm for any day shift) with every other weekend requirement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
• Assess, monitor, and document patient's condition and response to treatments
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and carry out physician's orders
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and post-discharge care
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Respond to emergent situations and provide appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
