Job Summary:

Our healthcare staffing agency is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Nurse to fill a Travel Nursing position in Nashua, NH. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs during surgical procedures
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs during procedures
• Assist with surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
• Monitor and control equipment and supplies during procedures
• Communicate with patients, family members, and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful surgical outcomes
• Provide guidance and support to patients before and after procedures
• Educate patients and their families on the post-operative care process

Requirements:

• Active NH state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation skills
