Travel Operating Room RN - Charlottesville, VA

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall patient well-being during surgeries
• Sterilize and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
• Administer medications and fluids as required during surgical procedures
• Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery processes

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (or compact state)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN
• Experience in both scrubbing and circulating roles
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work collaboratively in diverse teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
