About the Position:

Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in the beautiful Kenai Peninsula, Alaska, for the 2025-2026 school year. This unique opportunity allows you to provide vital speech and language therapy services in an exciting and supportive school environment, while also enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Alaska's landscapes, including coastal areas, wildlife, and mountains.

In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students of various age groups with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators, parents, and other professionals to help students meet their communication goals and thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with various speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students referred for services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on assessment results, addressing students’ specific needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to ensure goals are being met.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual or small group settings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure in AK or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working with K-12 students is highly preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel and work in the Kenai Peninsula, AK for the duration of the assignment.
