Position Overview:
We are looking for an inpatient Pharmacist to provide vital services in a large hospital setting. The role involves order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, as well as managing pharmacokinetics. This assignment offers a great working environment and the chance to contribute to patient care at a top-tier hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and review medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient workflow
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure proper medication therapy management
- Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations and adjustments
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Ideal Candidate:
- OK Pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacist experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Job Requirements:
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license
- 1+ years of current experience as a hospital pharmacist
- Ability to work day shifts
- Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy practices and hospital systems
