Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to students with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' communication needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers in implementing strategies for students with speech and language difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • California state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not mandatory for consideration.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
