Job Title: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an adventurous and skilled Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 23/24 academic year. As a Travel SLP, you will have the unique opportunity to work in schools in and around Hilton Head Island, SC. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders in students of different ages and backgrounds. Your role will involve collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that help students achieve their communication goals.

As a Travel SLP on Hilton Head Island, you will have the chance to experience the natural beauty and vibrant culture while making a positive impact on the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate communication and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting speech and language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication abilities in academic and social settings
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document students' outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid South Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience as an SLP preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different work environments and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for providing quality speech and language services
