Contract Details:

• Start Date: 7/3/2023
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 (GSA hours not guaranteed during Orientation and holidays when the unit is closed)

Requirements:

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program at an accredited institution
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Minimum Experience: 1-2 years (strong ortho experience required)
• BLS certification (American Heart)
• Charting Experience Required: Epic required within the past 2 years

Shift and Availability:

• Primary Location: Ortho Unit
• Shift Requirements: 5-8 hour shifts per week, start time varies between 0600-1230
• Float Requirements: No Float
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: No weekends, holidays
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Unit Information:

• 17 ORs specializing in Orthopedics, general, urology, gyn, neuro, and small vascular
• Assist with GYN surgeries and C-Sections
• Average of 3-4 cases per day
• Community hospital with 144 inpatient beds
