Requirements:

• Master's Level Degree in School Social Work
• Must hold an active Social Worker State Teaching License in School Social Work (MSW or LCSW - specific license that is needed for the specific state will be listed in the job order)
• NO Clinical Social Workers
• Required to have a PEL (Professional Educator License) in Illinois
• Required to have a 310 license in Michigan - allows them to work with Special Education students
• Must have active PEL
• NASW: National Association of Social Workers
• Must Have at least 2 years of supervised, post MSW social work experience as a school staff and school workers in a school setting to work at district
• Active MI license required
