Position Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Virtual 8th Grade Science Teacher to join our team for a contract position through the remainder of the school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education, experience working with middle school students, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective virtual instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver virtual science lessons aligned with 8th-grade curriculum standards.
• Create engaging instructional materials, activities, and assessments that promote student learning and understanding.
• Facilitate virtual class discussions, labs, and experiments to enhance student comprehension and critical thinking skills.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students to help them succeed academically.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to ensure alignment of curriculum and instructional practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification or licensure in Science (Middle Grades or Secondary Education).
• Prior experience teaching science at the middle school level, preferably in a virtual or online setting.
• Strong understanding of 8th-grade science curriculum standards and best practices in science education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and technology tools.
