Position Overview:
A progressive school district in Illinois is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team and deliver virtual therapy services to K-12 students. This is a remote opportunity that allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills while working from the convenience of your home.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Provide engaging and interactive therapy sessions using virtual platforms.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to monitor and support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and IEP documentation, in compliance with state and district standards.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings to share insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current SLP licensure in Illinois.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC); CFs with strong teletherapy skills may also be considered.
- Experience with virtual service delivery is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong technical skills and access to necessary technology (computer, webcam, headset, reliable internet).
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
