Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and tech-savvy Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to students in Pittsburgh, PA. In this school-based role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders through virtual platforms, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially from the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication challenges in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through teletherapy platforms.
  • Provide remote speech and language therapy in individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure that student needs are being met.
  • Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to goal-setting and accommodations.
  • Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide coaching and support to parents and teachers to facilitate the student’s communication development in the virtual learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience with virtual therapy platforms is highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with technology.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
