Job Title: Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Minnesota)
Job Description: A reputable educational organization in Minnesota is currently seeking a Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join their team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about empowering students and fostering their academic success.
 • Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, both individually and in small groups.
 • Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of students with hearing loss.
• Utilize virtual platforms effectively for delivering instruction, incorporating appropriate visual and auditory supports.

Position Details:
 • Full-time position.
• Caseload: K-12 students with hearing impairments.
 • Remote work setup - serving students across Minnesota.

• Master's Degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
 • Valid Minnesota state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or willingness to obtain before the start date.
• Experience working with students with hearing impairments and implementing individualized educational plans.
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology for delivering remote instruction.
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities used by students with hearing loss.
