• Shift: Nights: 5x8s: 8:00pm-4:30am

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray procedures following established protocols and physician orders
• Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures
• Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Valid ARRT certification as an X-Ray Technologist
• Louisiana State License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in performing various X-ray procedures
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
