Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in a K-2 setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to address student needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary

Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Duration: Contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year
• Hours: Full-time (8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.) with part-time options available

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• Active Special Education State Teaching License
• Experience working with K-2 students preferred
