As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with a team of educators, support staff, and parents to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience.
Location: Killingly, CT
PAY: $35/hr+ (negotiable/depending on experience)
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
• Active Connecticut Special Education Teaching License

Details:

• Full-time | Contract Position   
• 35 hours a week
• Start/End Date: 9/15/2024- 6/15/2025
• Caseload Details:
  • Middle School Resource Room
• Onsite
• Zoom Interview

Duties:

• Assess students’ skills and determine their educational needs.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one.
• Discuss students’ progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.
