Required Credentials: Teaching credential for MI, or eligible for alt cert (Copy of applicable license required)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of high school students with diverse learning needs? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Education Resource Support educator. This is a contract position with a quick interview and hiring process.

Job Details:

• Provide support and guidance to students in 9th-12th grade with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective strategies for student success.
• Create and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique needs of students with varying abilities.
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage students and promote learning.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Teaching Credential for the State of Michigan, or eligible for alternative certification.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, particularly in a high school setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
