Job Title: Summer School Special Education Teacher

Location: Illinois

Duration: May-June 

Hours:  20-25 hours per week

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our summer school program in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs and a strong commitment to helping each student reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instruction in accordance with students' IEP goals and objectives.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Illinois State Teaching License in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
