Job Description: As a Special Education Teacher for ESY and the upcoming school year, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized instruction, support, and services to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing specialized instruction plans aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Providing differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet students' unique learning needs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.
• Conducting ongoing assessments to monitor students' progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS).
• Participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings to discuss student progress and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an ESY or school setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction and support strategies to meet individual student needs.
