Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, adapting curriculum and teaching strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and instructional technologies to facilitate student learning and growth.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional plans based on ongoing assessment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education from the state of Oklahoma.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and provide individualized support to students.
