Position: School-Based Special Education Teacher (Contract) Location: Twin Falls, Idaho Job Type: Contract, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, including academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments that promote student success.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of students and promote skill development.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional plans based on ongoing assessment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education from the state of Idaho.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and provide individualized support to students.
