SPED Teacher Full Time Opportunity

We are actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the Annapolis, Maryland area for the upcoming school year. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Maryland state teaching certification in Special Education or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction in various subjects, focusing on academic, social, and life skills development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student progress and success.
• Conduct assessments and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance and services provided.
