Virtual Science Special Education Teacher - Illinois - Part time

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Science Special Education Teacher to join our team in Illinois. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students while providing flexibility and autonomy in your work environment.

Caseload: Covering 8th to 9th grade students

Job type: Part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week

Location: Oklahoma, US

Description:

• Provide virtual instruction in Science for students with special education needs
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student learning objectives
• Utilize technology to facilitate virtual learning experiences and maintain communication with students and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure student success and progress
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results

Educational Requirements and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Illinois teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Science certificate
• Experience in virtual or remote teaching preferred

Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in a virtual learning environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to meeting the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Comfortable with technology and virtual learning platforms
