1:1 Grades 9 - 12 Assistive Technology Therapist Specialist in Hemet, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid licensure as an Assistive Technology Specialist
• Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Proven skill in implementing and adapting assistive technology within educational settings
• Expertise in transcribing braille for both instructional staff and students
• Comfort providing focused 1:1 student support
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Experience consulting with TVIs and interdisciplinary school teams is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with TVIs to ensure accessible learning materials for visually impaired students
• Accurately transcribe classroom content, resources, and assignments into braille
• Assist individual students in utilizing assistive technology tools and devices
• Evaluate student needs and recommend tailored technology solutions
• Offer training, guidance, and troubleshooting for both students and staff
• Maintain documentation of services provided and progress achieved
