Certified Nursing Assistant in Adams, MA

Deliver compassionate care while supporting a kindergarten student with significant medical needs in a dynamic school environment. This full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference during a short-term assignment aligned with the school schedule.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours: 32.5 hours per week
• Coverage from September through mid-November, with the possibility to extend through the full academic year

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Previous experience supporting children or individuals with high-level medical needs is highly valued
• Comfort working with young learners in a school setting
• Ability to provide attentive, empathetic, and detail-oriented care
• Excellent communication skills to support collaboration with educators, medical professionals, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 care for a kindergarten student using a wheelchair
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and ongoing medical support as required
• Monitor the student’s status and communicate any changes to the school nurse and healthcare team
• Ensure the student’s safety and well-being throughout the school day
• Foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment
