A fantastic opportunity is available for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated, full-time care for a 5th-grade student with complex medical needs in a supportive school environment. This interim assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during the school year, including coverage of daily bus transportation with the student.

Schedule/Hours

• Full-time hours aligned with the school day
• Includes bus riding duties for student transportation

Key Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) license in good standing
• Previous experience as a CNA/LNA working with children, especially at the elementary school level
• Skilled in supporting students requiring medical care in a 2:1 ratio setting
• Capable and comfortable supporting the student during daily bus transportation
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational and nursing staff
• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to individualized student care

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to a 5th-grade student with complex medical needs throughout the school day and during transportation
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and execution of the student's care plan
• Monitor the student's medical status, reporting observations and collaborating with the healthcare team
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for the student at school and in transit
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
