Key Qualifications:

• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Previous experience assisting individuals with intensive health needs beneficial
• Reliable, caring nature and a team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and healthcare staff
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks (toileting, diapering, lifting)
• Willingness to support students with minimal behavioral challenges

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized care to a student with intensive health requirements
• Assist with daily living activities, including toileting, diapering, and safe lifting/transfers
• Monitor and document changes in the student’s health status and promptly report concerns
• Collaborate with school personnel and healthcare professionals to meet daily goals for student health and safety
• Foster a positive, nurturing environment that enhances the student’s educational experience
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at every stage
