Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Experience or genuine interest in 1:1 pediatric care, preferably with children requiring individualized nursing attention
• Ability to follow care plans, physician/therapist directives, and communicate effectively with families and school staff
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to changing needs throughout the day
• Commitment to upholding client confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries

Schedule:

• 1:1 position directly supporting a student
• Set hours that follow the student’s school attendance

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated assistance with daily living tasks, hygiene, mobility, and feeding as needed
• Monitor health status and promptly report changes or concerns
• Support the student’s participation in educational and classroom activities as directed by educators
• Administer medications or treatments under supervision and in line with care protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and contribute to care plan updates
• Foster a respectful and nurturing environment, encouraging the student’s independence wherever possible
