Certified Nursing Assistant in Keene, NH

A fulfilling opportunity awaits a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) passionate about making an impact in an educational setting. Support high school students who require behavioral and personal care assistance, collaborating closely with educators and specialists to help each student achieve their highest potential.

Schedule:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, hands-on support to high school students with behavioral needs
• Assist students with activities of daily living, including feeding, toileting, and physical adjustment throughout the school day
• Maintain student dignity and promote independence whenever possible
• Document relevant care activities and report observations to appropriate school staff
• Respond promptly and calmly to behavioral situations, applying strategies as trained
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment, adapting assistance as needs change over the school year
• Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and other team members for holistic student support

Qualifications:

• Current CNA or LNA certification in good standing
• Experience working with youth or individuals with behavioral/emotional challenges is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring, professional demeanor
• Ability to perform physical tasks and remain attentive throughout each shift
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a school environment
