Nursing Assistant | Manchester, New Hampshire

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support students in an educational setting. This contract role involves working closely with 5th-grade students who have complex medical needs, providing essential care and assistance throughout the school day. The position also includes coverage on student bus transportation as part of daily responsibilities.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time
• Includes bus riding duties

Key Qualifications:

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) credential required
• Certified Nursing Assistant designation (CNA/CNA) preferred
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged students, especially those with significant medical needs
• Proven ability to deliver care in a 2:1 support environment
• Comfortable assisting students during bus rides to and from school
• Dedicated, patient, and adaptable to working in a school setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school nurses, and other staff

Responsibilities:

• Assist and monitor students throughout the school day, ensuring safety and adherence to care plans
• Provide direct personal and medical care as needed
• Collaborate with educational staff to support each student’s individualized health and learning goals
• Maintain accurate records and communicate any health concerns to the appropriate staff
• Supervise and support students during bus transportation, ensuring their safety and well-being
