1:1 1:1 Pediatric CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Newport News, VA

This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant with a passion for pediatric care to make a meaningful difference. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized care to a pediatric student in a 1:1 setting
• Assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility support
• Monitor and document the student’s condition and promptly report any changes
• Collaborate with nursing staff, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment
• Implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of the student
• Support the safe participation of the student in classroom and school activities
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards of practice at all times

Requirements:

• Current certification as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) with active state credentials
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric or 1:1 care (school or home-based settings preferred)
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting children with special needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Strong observation and organizational skills
