Nursing Assistant | Providence, Rhode Island

Schedule:

• 30-32.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant)
• Active RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) CNA certificate required
• Professional, reliable, and well-organized demeanor
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments in educational settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be available for an on-site interview (remote interviews not offered)

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing quality care and support to students under the guidance of nursing and educational staff
• Observe and report changes in student health or behavior to the appropriate staff
• Promote a safe and healthy environment in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Support classroom teachers and other school staff in daily activities, as needed
• Assist students with personal care tasks while maintaining dignity and respect
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
