Schedule:
- 30-32.5 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant)
- Active RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) CNA certificate required
- Professional, reliable, and well-organized demeanor
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments in educational settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available for an on-site interview (remote interviews not offered)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing quality care and support to students under the guidance of nursing and educational staff
- Observe and report changes in student health or behavior to the appropriate staff
- Promote a safe and healthy environment in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Support classroom teachers and other school staff in daily activities, as needed
- Assist students with personal care tasks while maintaining dignity and respect
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
