A contract opportunity is available for a certified nursing assistant (CNA or LNA) to support high school students requiring assistance with personal care and behavioral needs. This important role is based in a school environment, providing compassionate care and hands-on support to students throughout the academic year.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • 35 hours per week
  • Assignment term: August 2026 through June 2027

Key Qualifications:

  • Active CNA or LNA certification required
  • Prior experience working with youth or students preferred
  • Ability to provide respectful and sensitive behavioral support
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality in a school setting
  • Patience, reliability, and positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist high school students with daily personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, adjusting, and transfers as needed
  • Provide one-on-one care and behavioral support in accordance with individual care plans
  • Document observations and report concerns to nursing and school staff
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and healthcare personnel
  • Uphold school policies and adapt to changing student needs
